Looking for something fun to do with the family this weekend? The annual San Marcos Spring Festival will be taking over the streets of San Marcos this Sunday, April 12. Hosted by the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, the festival will be going on from 9am-5pm. This fun-filled event happens only once a year and draws tens of thousands of festival goers from all around the county. The San Marcos Spring Festival is the perfect Sunday afternoon activity, and admission is completely free! One of the largest events of it’s kind in San Diego County, and it is happening right in our backyards in beautiful San Marcos! It is on Via Vera Cruz between Grand Avenue and San Marcos Boulevard. Via Vera Cruz will be lined with booths from over 250 vendors. Undoubtedly, there will something fun for everyone in the family. Festival goers will enjoy live entertainment, delicious food and desserts, kiddie and carnival rides, arts & crafts and much more! The organizers are anticipating 15,000 to 20,000 attendees. So come out and meet your San Marcos neighbors, and get some unique gifts and trinkets from local artisan and craft vendors.
