San Diego Pops; The Outdoor Symphony on The Embarcadero

    This Sunday marks the beginning of San Diego’s iconic Summer Pops. The world famous San Diego Symphony’s outdoor concert series located on The Embarcadero.  The concert series starts off with a bang,  and annual tradition, the “Tux and Tennies” concert which features Beach Boys tribute band Papa Doo Run Run. The series will run through September. 

    All concerts are at the Embarcadero Marina Park South (behind the Convention Center downtown). Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. except June 26, which begins at 8:30 p.m. and July 26, July 31 and Aug. 1, which begin at 8 p.m. The San Diego Symphony performs on all concerts except the June 27 “Tux ’n Tennies” program. Subscription packages (five concerts and up) are now on sale; single tickets go on sale April 6.
