San Diego Festival of Sail Labor Day Weekend!!

    Looking for some fun for Labor Day weekend? Head down to the Embarcadero for the Festival of Sail. Festival of Sail is the LARGEST Tall Ship festival on the west coast and is hosted at the Maritime Museum of San Diego, transforming the North Embarcadero over Labor Day weekend into a nautical theme park. The Festival of Sail is an annual event with something for everyone. Fun for the Entire Family. The event is Saturday, Sept 5th through Monday, Sept 7th. Saturday and Sunday it will be running from 9:00am to 7:00pm and Monday the festivities will shut down at 5:00pm. The event kicks off today, Friday September 4th with the Parade of Sail. 

    The San Salvador is on schedule to make her appearance at this years Festival of Sail. San Salvador has been preparing for her grand entrance during this years Parade of Sail, Friday September 4, 2015. While she will not be under sail, she will be leading the parade of 16 vessels under her own power (iron wind). 

    Activities during the festival will include, a flyboard and hoverboard demo, swift boat tours, cannon battles, 30 minute bay cruises, and twilight sails to enjoy the lovely sunset.
