Since 1989, the Escondido Street Faire has brought live entertainment, over 500 vendors, children’s rides and activities, and food from around the world to the downtown tree-lined streets of Escondido.
Covering seven blocks along historic Grand Avenue, between Center City Pkwy and Ivy. The Escondido Street Fair is the second largest single-day fair in California, second only to the massive Carlsbad Village Faire.
The festival kicks off at 9:30 a.m. and will jump and jive all day until 5:30 p.m. With crowds exceeding 60,000 and a wide variety of food and family entertainment, the festival is expected to provide all our vendors with a successful and enjoyable day.
The downtown festival features arts and crafts, unique clothing, home improvement, children’s rides, food from around the world, a beer garden, live music, animal demonstrations by the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, an old-fashioned pancake breakfast, and a farmers market.
Come and enjoy this family friendly event which takes place each May and October.
Grand Avenue has a variety of locally-owned shops, galleries and restaurants, reminescent of the 1950s. The downtown thoroughfare is host to several other events throughout the year, including Cruisin Grand in Summer.
This event is sponsored by the Escondido Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Business Association.
